The College of Communication and Design upholds “Innovation × Interdisciplinary Collaboration × Hands-on Practice × Global Perspective”. With this core philosophy and in response to the rapid evolution of new technologies and industries. We propose the following forward-looking strategies:
1. Establish the “Communication and Design = New Technology’ brand”
Focusing on emerging technologies such as AI, XR, immersive media, and digital imaging. We
closely integrate design aesthetics with cutting-edge technology to create a college brand that is
futuristic and distinctive.
2. Curriculum Innovation and Interdisciplinary Learning
Promote a "core professional course + emerging technology elective modules" system,
integrating AI, digital arts, interaction design, and digital marketing courses. We encourage
interdisciplinary course selection, enabling students to explore greater creative possibilities
through cross-domain interactions.
3. Industry Partnership × Hands-On Learning"
Learning is driven by real projects, combining industry case studies and hands-on practice.
Students engage in corporate collaborations while still in school, gaining practical experience
and developing job-ready skills that seamlessly transition to the workplace.
4. "Global Vision × Local Connection"
We promote dual-degree programs, student exchange programs, and overseas internships to
expand students' international mobility. At the same time, we actively cultivate collaborations
with local communities and the cultural creative industries, blending global perspectives with
local characteristics to fulfill social responsibility.
